Flip in Carige, second part. After the resignation of the president Giovanni Tesauro, the Ligurian bank announces that it has also decided to step aside Joseph Lunardi, member of the institution's board of directors and risk committee. The motivation is the same given by Tesauro, in controversy with the managing director Paolo Fiorentino: "Differences relating to the governance and management of the Bank".
In December last year, Carige's board of directors had acknowledged the findings of the ECB Supervision on some directors - including Lunardi - for the numerous positions held.
At the beginning of the afternoon, Banca Carige's stock dropped 2,5%, to 0,0077 euro.
