Carige: here are the names of Malacalza for the new Board of Directors

News at the top for Banca Carige. On Wednesday 2 March, Malacalza Investimenti (which owns 17,6% of the institute) presented its list for new board appointments, which includes Joseph Tesauro candidate for the presidency, Vittorio Malacalza for the vice-presidency and Guido Bastianini as managing director in pectore.

In all, the list is made up of fourteen names and is led by the former president of the Antitrust and the Constitutional Court Giuseppe Tesauro and the patron Vittorio Malacalza: according to the Carige statute, the first two names on the majority list indicate the candidates for presidency and vice presidency. The role of operational leadership of the bank, which is however formally designated by the newly elected council, will be entrusted to Guido Bastianini current president of Banca Profilo.

The names of the councilors chosen – he explains in a note the same Victor Malacalza – express “banking skills and sensitivity close to the industrial and economic panorama to put Banca Carige in a position to seize the potential for consolidation, relaunch and development. My direct commitment is a further sign in this sense, in order to put the entrepreneurial experience that comes from over forty years of activity in the industrial world at the service of the bank".
