The Ligurian bank is back on the stock exchange today after -38,5% and the volatility auction of Monday's session – The bank, however, also benefits from the sale of the property in Milan and the conversion of the bonds.

THEcapital increase of half a billion which is leaving these days will still cost a Banca Carige over 36 million in total costs, therefore the proceeds generated by the operation will be 463,7 million. In some documents, the Ligurian bank specifies that, considering this income and that deriving from the sale of the Milan office for 107,5 million, in addition to the impact of the bond conversion operation (-58 million), cash and pro forma liquidity of the institute as at 30 September 2017 would rise to 790 million euro, compared to an official figure of 278 million at the same date, with a liquidity coverage ratio of 152.2% (124.6% historic figure at the end of September).

The sale of the property in Milan has indeed generated a net capital gain of 62 million, against a gross of 85 million, while the restructuring of the bonds (Liability management exercise) contributed 163 million to the income statement result for the nine months. From a capital point of view, the bank has calculated that the Cet1 coefficient, considering the sale of the Milan office, the Lme and the increase, would rise to 14.9% in September compared to the official figure communicated of 10.4%.

Meanwhile Carige, whose stock was suspended on the Stock Exchange yesterday due to an excess of -38,5%, has returned to trading on Piazza Affari, where it recorded a rebound of 17% to 0,10 euro per share.
