A new wave of generalized fuel price increases is expected for the weekend, after market leader Eni proceeded with the third price increase in a week. Encouraged by the solid upward dynamics of quotations on international markets, the Italian company has taken steps to adjust its price lists on the retail network, opting for an increase of 1,5 cents for green oil and gas oil (LPG is also on the increase).
The national averages for petrol and diesel rose respectively to 1,828 and 1,732 euro/litre (LPG to 0,781). In some areas of the country "peaks" of 1,865 euro/litre are reached for "green", 1,748 for diesel and 0,815 for LPG.
