Car sharing: Generali Italia and DriveNow reward responsible driving

All DriveNow customers who give their explicit consent will be able to participate in the "DriveNow, DriveSafe" initiative which rewards all those whose driving style monitored by Generali Italia's Real Time Coaching system proves virtuous with free minutes of use.

Car sharing: Generali Italia and DriveNow reward responsible driving

The awareness campaign of DriveNow, the car sharing company of the BMW Group, born from the collaboration with Generali Italia, through the Iot and Connected Insurance service company Generali Jeniot, kicks off on 1 January 2019. The initiative aims to encourage a responsible driving style.

All DriveNow customers who give their explicit consent will be able to participate in the "DriveNow, DriveSafe" initiative which rewards all those whose driving style is monitored by the system with free minutes of use Real Time Coaching of Generali Italia will be virtuous.

“Il Real Time Coaching – explains Generali Italia – it is an interactive system which via a light signal warns the driver live about his behavior behind the wheel, thus making him aware of a responsible driving style and helping him to recognize risky situations. Installed on board all the 500 BMW and MINI DriveNow cars currently circulating in Milan, it will measure the intensity of parameters such as speed, acceleration, deceleration, steering and braking for the entire duration of the rental. Each driver will get a monthly assessment based on the parameters recorded and the virtuosos will be rewarded with free rental minutes”.
