Enjoy lands a Torino. After success of Milan, Rome and Florence, the car sharing of Eni, created in partnership with Fiat and Trenitalia, arrives in the Piedmontese capital, where it will be active with a fleet that will count 400 Fiat 500s when fully operational. Methods and characteristics of Enjoy car sharing in Turin will be the same as in other Italian cities: registration free and completely online and a simple and immediate "customer experience".
In fact, the customer will be able to view the nearest car and book it with thesmartphone app (Android, iOS and Windows Phone) or via the website enjoy.eni.com or choose a free one along the way, hire it and start renting right away.
In Turin, cars will have free access and transit in the Central and Roman ZTL (while it will not be possible in the public transport ZTL, Valentino ZTL and pedestrian ZTL) and can be released at the end of use - or even in "parking" mode - at any parking permitted by the Highway Code, including paid spaces delimited by blue lines, within the area covered by the service.
In the initial phase, in the Turin area, this coverage area will be approximately 45 sq km. Other "dedicated" car parks are planned inside some Eni service stations located in strategic areas with high car traffic in the city. All the Fiat 500s in the active fleet in Turin will be Euro 6 homologated and equipped to carry up to four people in complete comfort.
The price is always 25 cents a minute on the move (for the first 50 km, after which the cost per km of 25 cents is also applied) and 10 cents per minute when you decide to leave the rental car in parked mode. The rate is "all inclusive" because it also includes insurance, maintenance, fuel and parking costs.
To date, Milan, Rome and Florence have totaled more than 250 members and well over 2 million rentals.
