Car incentives 2024, at the start i new ecobonuses for cars, motorcycles, commercial vehicles. In fact, the publication is expected for Friday 25 May Official Gazette of the Prime Ministerial Decree (Decree of the President of the Council of Ministers) which updates the incentives precedents. Barring further unforeseen events, the countdown is in the home stretch: after a series of postponements and delays lasting for months (which, moreover, also affected sales in the car market), the publication in Gazette will unlock i 950 million euros of resources intended in particular for the purchase of 100% electric cars e plug-in hybrids. So, the questions for bonuses they should be available starting from the month of June 2024.

Car incentives 2024, Mimit: new bookings arriving
Just two days ago, the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy ha the booking service for old incentives has been suspended for the purchase of cars "in view - we read on the site - of the imminent arrival of the new ecobonus Prime Ministerial Decree" precisely to guarantee the functioning of the new platform. It will however be possible - explains the ministry - to complete or cancel reservations already entered within the terms established by the relevant legislation. Mimit reminds you that ongoing reservations, entered in 2023, must be completed within 270 days from the date of insertion. The reopening date of the platform for booking new contributions will be communicated later.

Ecobonus 2024, what does the plan include
Mimit's plan predicts a series of contributions based on the type of vehicle and its emission level. THE maximum contributions they can reach up to 13.500 euros for electric cars, with a 25% increase for families with ISEE under 30.000 euros. Scrapping older, more polluting vehicles will also increase incentives up to a maximum of 11.000 euros.
Without scrapping, the contribution varies from 6.000 euros for cars with emissions up to 20 grams/km, to 4.000 euros for those between 21 and 60 grams/km, while there is no bonus for the third category of emissions. The amount of the contribution increases progressively with the scrapping of older and more polluting vehicles. For example, by scrapping a Euro 4 vehicle, you can obtain up to 9.000 euros for cars with emissions up to 20 grams/km, up to 5.500 euros for those between 21 and 60 grams/km and up to 1.500 euros for those between 61 and 135 grams/km.
for electric cars with emissions up to 20 grams/km, the contribution is 6.000 euros without scrapping, which rises to 7.500 euros for those with an ISEE of less than 30.000 euros. With the scrapping of a Euro 2 vehicle, the contributions increase up to 11.000 euros, and up to 13.500 euros for those with an ISEE of less than 30.000 euros.
for plug-in hybrids with emissions between 21 and 60 grams/km, the contribution is 4.000 euros without scrapping, which increases to 5.000 euros for those with an ISEE of less than 30.000 euros. With the scrapping of a Euro 2 vehicle, the contributions rise up to 8.000 euros, and up to 10.000 euros for those with an ISEE of less than 30.000 euros.
for hybrid, mild-hybrid, petrol and diesel cars with emissions between 61 and 135 grams/km, the contributions vary from 3.000 euros for the scrapping of a Euro 2, to 2.000 euros for a Euro 3, and to 1.500 euros for a Euro 4.
For all incentives there is a maximum price limit for the model that can be purchased set at 35 thousand euros in the 0-20 and 61-135 issue bands and at 45 thousand euros in the intermediate 21-60 one.
