New appointment of Wine Tourism Movement. After Cantine Aperte in Vendemmia, lunches, dinners, tours and tastings among the rows return in autumn for Open Cellars in San Martino 2022, an initiative signed by MTV that brings – from the 5 13 November – the Wine Lover in the vineyards of all Italy to taste the new wine of the last harvest. A fresh, fruity and extremely dynamic and young wine.

“Cantine Aperte a San Martino is one of the most awaited events by wine enthusiasts – he declares Nicola D'Auria, President of the Movimento Turismo del Vino – especially by the younger ones, who find in this initiative an opportunity to learn more about new wine, a product with extraordinary potential. As always, the MTV member wineries are planning numerous activities dedicated to Wine Lovers and to all those who wish to have an experience in the vineyard and touch the great work of the cellars first-hand, especially during the autumn season”.

The event takes place under the auspices of theIndian summer, where days traditionally offer milder weather to better enjoy the unique experiences of Open Cellars in San Martino. In fact, the producers of the Movimento Turismo del Vino have a calendar full of initiatives in store for all wine lovers: lunches, dinners and picnics among the vines, walks in the vineyard, visits to the cellar, guided tastings, aperitifs at sunset , art exhibitions and much more.

Among the tastings, of course, the timeless pairing of new wine and roasted chestnuts stands out, but there will also be labels from previous harvests paired with typical regional products. Open Cellars in San Martino it will be a nine-day party to celebrate the end of the harvest and lay the foundations for the new wine year.

Like all the events organized this year by Movimento Turismo del Vino, too Open Cellars on San Martino 2022 promotes responsible and sustainable consumption of wine thanks to the partnership with Wine in Moderation and Unione Italiana Vini. The goal of the synergy is to encourage the public, especially the younger ones, to adopt a cultural and sensitive approach to wine.
