Rai fee: last day not to pay it

Today, Monday 16 May, is the deadline for submitting the declaration, both in paper and online format, to avoid charging the fee by the electricity companies.

Rai fee: last day not to pay it

Still a few hours for taxpayers to present the substitutive declaration relating to the Rai subscription fee. This was established by a provision of the director of the Revenue Agency, which he had set at today, Monday 16 May 2016, deadline within which to submit the declaration, both in print and online.

In this way – it is specified -, taxpayers can present the declaration in good time to avoid the charging of the fee by the electricity companies, starting from the month of July 2016, if they meet the requirements established by law.

For who will send the declaration from tomorrow and until 30 June 2016, the exemption from paying the Rai license fee will be valid only for the second half of the year.

Therefore, anyone who sends the declaration late will be forced, even if they do not own a television set, or even if they have someone in the household who already pays the Rai license fee, to payment for the first six months of the year.
