Don't have a television and want to ask for exemption from the Rai 2017 license fee? You have until 31 January to present the self-declaration to the Revenue Agency, i.e. the self-certification with which taxpayers can communicate that they meet the requirements for not paying the tax on public TV.
The Revenue Agency itself recalls that the first installment for the Rai 2017 license fee is already charged in January, therefore "it is advisable to submit the substitute declaration electronically by the end of December or by post by 20 December".
HOW TO SUBMIT THE REPLACEMENT DECLARATION
The substitute declaration model for the exemption from the 2017 fee is available on the websites of the Revenue Agency and Rai and must be presented directly by the taxpayer or heir through a web application, available on the Agency's website, using the Fisconline or Entratel credentials, or through authorized intermediaries (Caf and professionals).
In cases where electronic submission is not possible, the form can be sent, together with a valid identification document, by postal service in registered mail without an envelope to the address “Agenzia delle Entrate Ufficio di Torino 1, SAT – Sportello abbonamenti tv – PO Box 22 – 10121 Turin”.
The substitute declaration can be digitally signed and also submitted by certified e-mail to the address cp22.sat@postacertificata.rai.it.
