SERIE A CHAMPIONSHIP - Incredible decision by the referee who in the 91st minute does not grant Fiorentina an obvious penalty on Cuadrado who is instead sent off for simulation - But, beyond the help of the referee, Napoli deserved the victory and the second place in the standings with Juve – Goals by Callejon and Mertens and by Giuseppe Rossi from a penalty

SERIE A CHAMPIONSHIP - Victory with yellow card for Napoli in Florence: 2 to 1

A victory with yellow. The one in the Napoli penalty area, where Inler knocks out Cuadrado a few moments from the end and the (double) one from the Colombian himself, who will be forced to miss Saturday's match against Milan.

Inevitable starting from this episode that could have changed the history of the match, if only Calvarese hadn't transformed a sacrosanct penalty into an absurd simulation. Having said that, however, Napoli takes home a very important victory and, net of the episodes, deserved. There Benitez team plays when he grows up and wins matches even in pain, thus proving that he is finally ready for the leap in quality. The management of the Spanish coach is a success across the board: the results arrive both in the league and in the Champions League and the squad is exploited to the maximum. Everyone is involved on the pitch and not just in the locker room, as was the case in Mazzarri's time, which is why those outside accept the bench willingly, even if it's a big name.

It's up to Franchi to Hamsik to stay out for Pandev's benefit, who thus composes the attack quartet together with Mertens, Callejon and Higuain. Lethal weapons especially in the counterattack, and in fact Napoli's first goal comes just like that. In the 12th minute Pipita serves Callejon splendidly with his right wing, the Spaniard coordinates and sends the ball past Neto. An applause goal, which however did not extinguish Fiorentina's ardor. The purples maneuver differently from the blues, but they know how to do badly. In the 28th minute Fernandez pushes Savic, for the referee it's a penalty: Giuseppe Rossi goes on the spot who displaces Reina and brings the match back to a draw. But Napoli didn't lose the thread and in the 37th minute they took the lead again. The one-two Mertens-Higuain is spectacular, as is the conclusion of the Belgian who leaves poor Neto stunned. In the second half, Fiorentina tries to get back on track, but the Azzurri control the outbursts and, all in all, are not in great danger. Except in the 74th minute, when Reina had to overcome himself to deflect Rossi's shot and in the 91st minute, when Inler kicked Cuadrado in the box. It would have been a penalty and, perhaps, another film.

However, Napoli prefers this, which sees them second in the standings on equal points with Juve and ready to undermine leaders Roma.
