SERIE A CHAMPIONSHIP – The 10 days of Milan at the start: Inter welcomes Parma, Milan in Palermo

The 10 days of Milan. Someone has already renamed the season finale of Milan e Inter, perhaps in an attempt to keep attention focused on the present, at a time when everyone seems to be only thinking about the future. In fact, on both sides of the Naviglio there is already a tendency to focus on the next season, almost assuming that this will no longer lead to anything. Then there is total fibrillation in the Rossoneri's house, "fault" of the (founded) rumors that the sale of the company to the East would be imminent.

Right now AC Milan is disputed between Thailand and China. On the one hand Bee Taechaubol, strengthened by a pressing that began earlier which would lead him to have suffered 30% (we are talking about 250 million) with a purchase option of 51%, on the other Richard Lee, businessman from Hong Kong (received in Arcore on Thursday evening) directly interested in 75%. In both cases, it should be clarified, they are intermediaries: in fact, behind them there are consortia of entrepreneurs over whom, at least for now, mystery hovers. Some rumors speak of Wang Jianlin, president of Wanda Group (owner of Infront and 20% of Atletico Madrid), others of Zong Qinghou (president of Wahaha, beverage giant), still others by Poe Qui Ying Wansuo, better known as Mr Pink. In all this uproar of names there seems to be only one certainty: the Berlusconi era is winding down.

It is difficult for the news to leave the team and coach indifferent, already in difficulty. The duty to end the season in the best possible way remains even if, with the standings in hand, the Europa League goal (currently 9 points away) is almost unattainable. The last chances go through Palermo (15 pm), where a Milan a little less reworked than usual (the stop rehabilitated Bonaventura, De Sciglio, Zapata and Rami) he will be looking for an external success that has been missing since last October 19th. “We've worked well these days, now we have to follow up on the victory against Cagliari – said Inzaghi. – I would like to review the progress of the last few games, we will go to Palermo to win. The rumors about the club don't upset me, I just think about the team and the pitch." Al Barbera will still be 4-3-3, with Diego Lopez in goal, Abate, Paletta, Mexes and Antonelli in defense, Van Ginkel, De Jong and Poli in midfield, Bonaventura (favorite over Cerci, Suso and Honda), Destro and Menez in attack. Not even Muntari has been called up: the Ghanaian in fact, after learning from Galliani that his contract will not be renewed, asked to remain on the sidelines of the squad until the end of the season and the club satisfied him. Iachini will respond with the usual 4-3-1-2 in which Vazquez, Dybala and Belotti promise battle.

No corporate uncertainty instead in home Inter but many future projects, obviously linked to Roberto Mancini. The summer market is still more than two months away but the Nerazzurri world seems to think only of that: come on possible signings (Yaya Tourè and Dybala above all) to transfers (Icardi, Kovacic and Handanovic appeal to many). In all of this, the match at San Siro against Parma (at 15 pm) risks taking a back seat, despite the fact that it represents the last resort for European dreams. “For me we still have a 60% chance – explained Mancini. – We all have to try to do our best, myself included. I understand the disappointment of the fans but I think the team has improved a lot, despite the results. The one against Parma is one of those matches in which there is everything to lose, or you unlock it immediately or it becomes difficult”. The idea therefore is to start strong to look for the goal, even if the nerazzurri will have to do without the top scorer Icardi, disqualified together with Vidic. In place of the Argentine there should be Podolski, while the other novelty concerns the defense with the debut of Felipe (who released himself from Parma) and the consequent posting of Juan Jesus on the left wing. For the rest, a typical formation with Guarin, Medel and Brozovic in midfield, Shaqiri and Palacio in attack. Much trouble, as usual, for Donadoni's Parma, who will try to save face anyway by relying on the Varela-Coda-Belfodil trident.
