SERIE A CHAMPIONSHIP - Juve smashes all records and enters history: 102 points

SERIE A CHAMPIONSHIP - The Italian champions crown the victory of the third consecutive championship by beating Cagliari 3-0 and setting two new records that go down in football history: 102 points in the standings like no one has ever done in the major European championships and all victories in 19 home games – Conte's future is now being decided

SERIE A CHAMPIONSHIP - Juve smashes all records and enters history: 102 points

The wall is broken. Juventus also beats Cagliari and reaches the stratospheric quota of 102 points in the standings, never touched by anyone in the main European championships. It's a record, the umpteenth of this wonderful season, at least in Italy. No one had ever won the Scudetto with such a demonstration of power: in addition to the 102 points, in fact, we must take into consideration the 33 overall victories in 38 days, the 19 out of 19 within the friendly walls of the Stadium, the best attack (80) and the best defense (23).

“We managed to hit the third consecutive Scudetto, it's something historic – admitted Antonio Conte in the press conference. – Overcoming Inter's 97 points and reaching 102 is extraordinarily special. Thanks to special guys who in three years have managed to do something that will be difficult for anyone to repeat and surpass".

Perhaps also for them, the same protagonists of title number 30 (or 32, depending on your point of view). And perhaps Conte's doubts stem from this consideration, submerged by the affection of the Juventus people throughout the day. From the morning, when a thousand fans showed up outside Leinì's retreat, to the afternoon inside the stadium, to the evening around Turin on the open bus. The Juventus people want the coach to stay, whatever the cost, but he, who also appeared shaken by so much passion, still prefers not to say too much.

“I thank the fans, my relationship with them has always been special since I was a player – Conte thought. – I gave all of myself to repay their affection, all of this fills me with pride and repays me for all the sacrifices made. Now, however, I only want to talk about what we have done and the historic goal achieved".

In short, the future is all to be deciphered even if the affection of the Juventus people could really have played its part. It's hard not to love a team like this, capable of approaching a useless match (the Scudetto had already been won for two weeks) with atavistic hunger. On the other hand, the Lady's secret is precisely this and Cagliari also realized it yesterday.

After scaring the Stadium with a blow from Ibarbo rejected by a great Buffon, the Sardinian team, however, had to bow down to Juventus' excessive power. To unlock the match is Pirlo, who in the 8th minute decides to delight everyone with another masterful free-kick, even if it ended up on goal only thanks to Silvestri's deflection (in fact, for the League it is an own goal).

A few minutes pass and Llorente doubles his robbery, scoring his 16th goal in the league and, who knows, getting a little closer to the Brazilian World Cup. Juve's first half is extraordinary: everyone wants to score, starting with that Tevez who still hopes to reach Immobile at the top of the scoring charts. It won't happen, but not bad because at the end of the first half it was Marchisio who scored the third goal, the last of the afternoon.

Because then the second half is only useful for making a few changes, a festive catwalk towards the red carpet in center field. It is there that the president of Lega Beretta hands the Cup to Buffon, it is there that Juventus officially sews another scudetto. Yet another of the Conte era, now all that remains is to understand if it will also be the last.
