SERIE A CHAMPIONSHIP - Juve also conquers San Siro and Allegri beats Inzaghi's Milan: 1 to 0

Next. Juventus continues its triumphal march by conquering San Siro and giving yet another strong signal to its competitors: for the Scudetto we still have to deal with it! And to say that the premises for a slip-up were all there, with a Milan full of enthusiasm and a Lady tired of the Champions League commitment. However, technical and mental superiority is now a constant in the championship and there were no surprises in Milan either: the bianconeri won a difficult match showing everyone that they are still clearly superior. It wasn't a spectacular match at San Siro but the success of Allegri's is all there because Milan has never managed to undermine the safety of the Italian champions. Who play as if they know that sooner or later they will find the winning goal, one way or another.

On the other hand, we have to understand them since there is a certain Tevez up front, capable of scoring the fourth consecutive goal in just three games, a monstrous score that hurts the Rossoneri even more, in 2012 very close to his purchase. However, reducing everything to the Apache would be wrong: the Lady is superior, full stop, even if this Milan has shown that they are a team and have enormous room for improvement. Back from the victories over Lazio and Parma Inzaghi decides to confirm the "trident without spikes", with Honda, Menez and El Shaarawy to annoy the Juventus fort. But Juventus is very different from the teams of Pioli and Donadoni and soon takes over the field, leaving Milan with only one possibility: to defend the draw. Honda's header aside (27'), the Rossoneri didn't create any problems for Buffon because the Italian champions managed the match far and wide.

Once you have taken the measurements to the arrows Inzaghiane, Juve conquered the field, coming close to scoring on several occasions. Llorente frightens Abbiati after a fine one-two with Pereyra (31'), the Chilean himself worries the AC Milan goalkeeper with a right footed shot from outside the box, Bonucci comes close to mocking with a solo header, Marchisio hits the post is probably still shaking (38'). The first half ends 0-0 and Milan, on balance, thanks. The beauty is that this Juve doesn't even seem to be making too much effort and in fact, in the second half, their pressure increases more, in defiance of any conjecture about possible European efforts. In the 60th minute Marchisio nearly scored from a corner kick but the ball went just wide. It was the prelude to the lead that arrived in the 71st minute with Tevez, very good at killing Abbiati after Pogba's splendid assist. The 0-1 forced Inzaghi to overreach (Poli and Honda out, Torres and Pazzini in as well as the change, forced due to cramps, El Shaarawy-Bonaventura) but by now the script is written and changing it is anything but simple. The grafting of points does not produce anything in particular except a possible penalty denied for a Marchisio-Menez contact which, seen several times in slow motion, leaves many doubts (87'). However, it is useless to complain, in the end the strongest team won.

“We did our best but Juve are stratospheric – admitted Inzaghi. – For a while we cherished the dream of achieving results but I am convinced that, with this spirit, we will obtain a lot of satisfaction. We're not that far from them and I'm happy about that. Now the important thing is that the boys don't lose faith”. Obviously, Massimiliano Allegri's point of view is different, with his fourth consecutive victory in as many official matches at the helm of Juventus. “Milan defended themselves while we managed the ball creating several chances – thought the Juventus coach. – It wasn't a normal match for me but neither was it a revenge with my past: now I train Juve and I want to win here". And it is succeeding, in Italy and in Europe. In short, the first exam didn't give any surprises: the Lady is still the team to beat and Milan are still in the works.
