SERIE A CHAMPIONSHIP – Frosinone mocks Juve in the recovery: for the bianconeri it is a real crisis

Incredible in Turin: after 25 shots on goal and two crossbars, Juve let Frosinone outwit in the 92nd minute with a goal from Blanchard, who, ironically, is very Juventus-like: 1-1 – Now the bianconeri are 10 points behind from leaders Inter and already in September the scudetto became a mirage – Di Zaza the goal of a Juve too soft to be true

SERIE A CHAMPIONSHIP – Frosinone mocks Juve in the recovery: for the bianconeri it is a real crisis

A hoax that opens the crisis. Against Frosinone last in the standings, sadly 0 points until yesterday, Juventus didn't go beyond a draw and it doesn't matter that the same only arrived in full recovery. The Stadium was a game to be won at all costs, without ifs and buts. Now the standings are really crying (leading Inter are 10 points away) and this can't be explained only by bad luck.

Sure, luck seems to have lost sight of Turin, but the feeling of an unloaded Juve remains, very far from the furious version admired in the last 4 seasons. Those in which, just to give an example, home games were often a formality, while now the Stadium is still without victories. The 5 points collected so far, in as many games, mark a clear gap with the past, so much so that the Scudetto, despite being only in September, appears almost like a mirage.

“More than angry I'm sorry – thought Allegri. – But I'm lucid enough to think it was right to concede goals like this. Moment management isn't good, we keep forcing plays and leaving points along the way. You can't concede a corner kick in the 92nd minute, you risk paying for these situations”.

This is exactly what happened to the Lady, at the end of a match dominated in terms of shots on goal (25 to 2) and ball possession (69%), yet never really closed. And so, in a season obviously born wrong, we end up drawing even against those who, respectfully speaking, didn't even think they could do it. This time there is no need to lash out against Allegri, whose turnover, with Naples and Seville at the gates, was lawful and dutiful.

Juventus should have finished the game earlier, full stop. Instead, after finding the advantage with Zaza (50'), the bianconeri played without the necessary malice, keeping all the scenarios open until the end. Bad luck affects up to a certain point: if it is true that the Italian champions boast two crossbars (Pogba and Zaza), it is equally true that Frosinone, in their only offensive sortie, hit a post (Castillo) and recriminated a penalty for an arm from Barzagli who, replay in hand, could easily have been there.

And so the Juventus fans, after the defeat against Udinese and the draw against Chievo, had to collect another disappointment: in the 92nd minute, in fact, Blanchard, a Juventus irony to the core ("in the final in Berlin I was in the corner with the ultras” the revelation after the match), he beat Neto following a corner kick.

"It's a matter of experience, we still need time to grow" is Allegri's justification, which however convinces up to a certain point. Finding yourself on the right side of the table, 10 behind leaders Inter, is a scenario that no one, not even him, could have even imagined just a month ago. And this, with the move to Naples just around the corner, greatly agitated the hearts of the black and white people.
