MILAN CHAMPIONSHIP – Milan in the Asian half against Napoli and Inter against Chievo

The twist you don't expect. In fact, the Berlusconi-Milan combination will not end up under the blows of Mr Beeindeed: the president will remain the majority shareholder, the one, so to speak, with the last word on every decision. “There is the possibility that I will keep 51% – confirmed Berlusconi himself. – We have become friends with Mr Bee, we think we can do good things together. My concern is that Milan become protagonists again in Italy, in Europe and in the world, this operation would help us a lot. We are still discussing, this club is an affair of the heart for me, too important. Will I remain president? Yes".

Important words, spoken after the meeting at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Milan, which leave no room for doubt: Berlusconi will not sell the majority of Milan but only 49%, to start the recovery phase through Asian resources. “I want to thank the president for the opportunity, being part of such a club is a great honor – the words of Bee Taechaubol. – There are still some things to discuss, now I will go back to Thailand but I hope to be able to conclude soon”.

He thought about it all Fininvest who, shortly after 18 pm, made his intentions official with a press release. “The proposed collaboration provides for the acquisition by a financial consortium of a minority stake – we read. – Control of the club will remain firmly in the hands of President Silvio Berlusconi and Fininvest”. In short, the new Milan will not be so different from the old one (in society of course): Barbara Berlusconi and Adriano Galliani will continue to fill their respective roles, with all due respect, at least for now, to Paolo Maldini.

The big news, however, will come from the market: no more zero parameters and "friendly" prosecutors, the point of reference will become the Doyen fund (the one who, among many, owns Falcao's card), one of the big investors behind Mr Bee. Fans can begin to dream of a better future, very different from the sad present. Which tonight will see the Rossoneri face Napoli (20.45 pm), with the aim of saving face after the embarrassment against Udinese and Genoa. “I expect a reaction, to restart you need great performances – explained Inzaghi. – Against Napoli it will be tough, they are a great team, even the best at home. But we don't need words, only results”. Milan will have to try without it Menez, stinged by the sports judge with 4 days of disqualification. Inzaghi will thus launch the unprecedented attack trident Honda-Destro-Bonaventura, with Poli, De Jong and Van Ginkel in the midfield and a defensive line made up of De Sciglio, Alex, Paletta and Bonera. Napoli will try to cancel the Empoli debacle with the usual 4-2-3-1, with Gabbiadini, Hamsik and Insigne behind the lone striker Higuain.

However, the first Milanese to take the field will be Inter, engaged at San Siro against Chievo (15 pm). A very delicate match for the Nerazzurri: in fact, a victory would allow them to take on Sampdoria. “After this match we'll understand if we can aim for the Europa League or not – admitted Mancini. – We are going through a good moment, we are coming from two consecutive victories but Chievo are also doing well, they are fit and calm”. The coach from Jesi expects a lot from him, who have relaunched in the standings after the last 4 games (10 points collected), culminating with the two successes against Roma and Udinese. Compared to the Friuli match Ranocchia and Juan Jesus will be available again, both in the field together with Santon and Vidic. Everything else is confirmed, with Guarin, Medel and Brozovic in midfield, Hernanes in the frontline, Icardi and Palacio in attack. For his part, Maran, already largely safe, will try to play with the usual 4-4-2, with Meggiorini and the former AC Milan player Paloschi in attack.
