Campania Stories: wines and territory, a unique heritage revealed to the press

Five days to promote the new vintages of wines produced in Campania in the main denominations with the specialized press with visits and tastings in the cellar. And for enthusiasts there is Campania Stories Day, to be held on 2 September with tastings over three time slots

Campania Stories: wines and territory, a unique heritage revealed to the press

It will kick off on Monday 30 August from the Archaeological Park of Pompeii Campania Stories, five days reserved for the press to discover the territories of the region and the new vintages of wines produced in the main denominations.

The program will continue in the following days between Terra degli Dei and the Amalfi Coast, with moments dedicated to the other provinces of the region: on the 31st at Agerola, at the "Principe di Napoli" Campus, site of the advanced training course in the catering field directed by Heinz Beck, executive chef of the Three Michelin Star restaurant "La Pergola" in Rome there will be a tasting of white wines from Campania, a tasting itinerary curated by Chef Heinz Beck which includes a trip to Vesuvius for a wine trekking with volcanic guides and eno-agronomic.

On 1 September there will be a tasting of red wines from Campania and, to follow, a visit to the Campi Flegrei, in an area that is a real open-air museum, with visits to the vineyards of Falanghina and Piedirosso enriched by the evidence of viticulture and from the tales of the winemakers. On 2 September we move to Sannio for an initiative in Torrecuso with the tasting tables of the participating companies and tasting in the vineyard and, in the afternoon, a stop in Irpinia for visits to the cellar and, at the "Marennà" restaurant, an initiative with all the participating wineries of the province of Avellino. A visit to the cellars of Salerno and Caserta is scheduled for 3 September and the last day dedicated to the island of Capri with an exclusive excursion on 4 September.

For operators and enthusiasts the traditional Campania Stories Day, which year after year is increasingly successful with visitors from every region of Italy, is set for Thursday 2 September at the "Principe di Napoli" Campus with tastings in three time slots: from 10 at 12, from 16.30 to 18.30, from 19.30 to 21.30 (info and reservations: tel. 329.9606793 – 392.0059528 – segreteria@miriadeweb.it).
