Consob will conclude its investigations into the Camfin-Pirelli reorganisation as quickly as possible, but safeguarding the seriousness of the checks. So the president of Consob, Giuseppe Vegas, regarding the checks that Consob itself is carrying out to understand if hidden pacts can be configured between the upstream shareholders of the Pirelli galaxy.
In his statements, released on the sidelines of a conference in Milan, Vegas added as if "there are changes to be made, we ask them: however, I am not yet able to say this".
In recent days, Lauro Sessantuno, the vehicle owned by the new controlling shareholders of Camfin (Marco Tronchetti Provera, Intesa San Paolo, Unicredit and Clessidra), filed the prospectus for the company's takeover bid with Consob.
While last month's performance of the Camfin share is strongly negative (-5,27%), in the afternoon today the share is stable (-0,06%), while Pirelli records a +0,39% (with a performance on the month which settles at +4,40%).
