Camfin: Lauro Sessantuno accelerates on Consob check

Laura Sixty-one, a vehicle owned by Marco Tronchetti Provera, Intesa Sanpaolo and Clessidra is preparing to complete the detailed information file requested by Consob to grant the definitive go-ahead for the takeover bid for Camfin. In fact, the meeting of the board of directors of the newco is set for tomorrow to finalize the material to be presented to the Commission, to resume the discussion interrupted on 3 July.

Consob has asked the Lauro shareholders for greater clarity in particular on the determination of the prices underlying the transfer of packets of Camfin and Gpi shares from Malacalza to Lauro 61 and the similar path taken by the Camfin shares of Nuove Partecipazioni, in addition to the possible role by some subjects of the Lauro consortium in the transaction that led the Malacalzas to hold just under 7% of Pirelli. Lastly, Consob intends to understand the reasons why Massimo Moratti chose to sign a separate agreement with Tronchetti Provera on his directly held Camfin shares.

In the meantime, the Camfin stock saw little movement, which in the morning lost 0,12% on the Stock Exchange at 0,801 euro per share.
