Climate Change: Inwit maintains the B score in the Carbon Disclosure Project (Cdp) climate change rating

Carbon Disclosure Project (Cdp) confirmation the B rating for the climate change for Inwit, a company operating in the infrastructure sector wireless network.

CDP has rewarded for results obtained in the Business Strategy, Targets and Emissions reduction initiatives areas.

Inwit has it like this maintained the score assigned last year. The company is among more than 18.700 companies that have reported their commitment in terms of governance, impacts, risks and opportunities related to climate change.

The company has anticipated the goal of carbon neutrality to 2024 and is committed to creating initiatives concrete for the reduction of own emissions, through interventions ranging from energy efficiency to the production and purchase of energy from renewable sources.

This result confirms theInwit commitment in the fight against climate change and is another goal achieved after the validation by Science Based Target initiative (SBTi), the inclusion in theindex FTSE4Good and the rating upgrade by GREBS extension.

All pieces of Inwit's climate strategy launched in the last two years, which also involves transparent disclosure of its impacts.

"The score B of the CDP Climate Change confirms the validity of our climate strategy, enriched this year by the approval of our reduction target by the Science Based Target Initiative. With ours Sustainability Plan we defined one climate strategy to better manage impacts of our business on climate change,” he said Michelangelo Suigo, Director of External Relations, Communication and Sustainability of Inwit.
