Francesco Gaetano Caltagirone, shareholder and vice president of Assicurazioni Generali, sold 1.000.000 shares of Leone Trieste, equal to 0,064% of the capital, through the holding company Fincal. All after having exercised call option rights at maturity.
With the operation, the stake held by the Roman entrepreneur is reduced to 3 percent. The sale, dating back to last Friday, took place in two tranches. The first involved 500.000 shares sold at €13 per share, while the second involved the same number of shares sold at the unit price of €13,5. The total value of the sale was 13,25 million. Consequently, Caltagirone with its 3% becomes the third shareholder of the Trieste company, behind Mediobanca (13,465%) and Leonardo Del Vecchio's Delfin (3,163%).
