Maurice Galimberti. Italy landscape. Sissa Micheli – Fade in the Past! Cut! The exhibition offers a cycle of new works, some of which created specifically for the occasion, which see the artist confront the expressive and narrative possibilities provided by the photographic medium. Starting from the reflection on the media and making use of various formal expedients, Sissa Micheli reflects on the aspects that photographic and cinematographic images have in common.
The core of the Merano exhibition itinerary is represented by two large-format black and white photographs in which a living room appears, the scenario of an imaginary set. In “SCENARIO FOR A POSSIBLE FILMING LOCATION” a rhinestone writing immediately brings to mind the decadent charm of Hollywood.
