FIRST Arte calendar: from April 6th to April 12th

THE EXHIBITIONS:

VENICE
Maurice Galimberti. Italy landscape.
An imposing kaleidoscope of images, made up of one-of-a-kind, non-repeatable shots to narrate Maurizio Galimberti's paths and digressions, which transfigures the gaze through a new world, capable of bringing back to the viewer the experience of transformation and renewal gained by the artist in these over twenty years of work on the landscape.
Veneto Institute of Sciences, Letters and Arts, Palazzo Franchetti
Until 12 May 2013

MILAN
GUGLIELMO CIARDI protagonist of Venetian landscape painting of the XNUMXth century, the exhibition traces the career of the last great interpreter of nineteenth-century Venetian landscape painting, heir to Canaletto, Guardi, Bellotto, through his most important masterpieces, from prestigious Italian and international collections.
GAMManzoni – Study Center for Modern and Contemporary Art
From April to 12 31 May 2013

MERANO
Sissa Micheli – Fade in the Past! Cut!
The exhibition offers a cycle of new works, some of which created specifically for the occasion, which see the artist confront the expressive and narrative possibilities provided by the photographic medium. Starting from the reflection on the media and making use of various formal expedients, Sissa Micheli reflects on the aspects that photographic and cinematographic images have in common.
The core of the Merano exhibition itinerary is represented by two large-format black and white photographs in which a living room appears, the scenario of an imaginary set. In “SCENARIO FOR A POSSIBLE FILMING LOCATION” a rhinestone writing immediately brings to mind the decadent charm of Hollywood. The viewer is immersed in a fictitious story that offers him a world of memories and images directly attributable to the world of cinema or television.Merano Art – Savings Bank Building
