Temperatures drop, but not enough. In Rome, Milan, Florence, Bologna, Reggio Calabria and Bolzano, Charon continues to ferry a record heat, with a red dot. The African anticyclone brings temperatures above forty degrees and the situation does not seem destined to improve significantly, at least for the next ten days. Only in some areas of the North will there be some rain today to loosen the grip of the heat that grips our country.
The Air Force forecasts indicate temperatures decreasing even significantly "in the north, Sardinia and the Tyrrhenian regions" and "a slight decrease in the remaining regions, but still a hot day in Puglia".
More or less compact cloud cover is expected in the North with locally scattered thunderstorms of strong intensity, especially during the afternoon. Tendency towards attenuation of cloudiness and phenomena from the evening starting from Piedmont. Clouds followed by clear spells are expected in Central and Sardinia.
A few drops of rain also along the Apennine ridge. Sun instead along the Adriatic side. In the South and in Sicily the day will still be largely sunny, except for some high and stratiform accumulations.
