Hot: Italy in the grip of Lucifer, but Beatrice arrives next week

Italy will be plagued by record heat throughout the week. The subtropical anticyclone Caligula is giving way to Lucifer, the seventh in the series, the last and the most powerful of this summer.

In Florence, Bologna, Ferrara, Rieti and Terni they could touch each other the 40 degrees. Other cities, such as Rome, will approach 39 degrees. During the week the same temperatures also in Veneto, Emilia Romagna and throughout the Center-South. Bolzano will touch the record of 37 degrees, the highest value of the last 100 years. Milan will stop at 36,5.

Starting since Wednesday, according to the meteo.it, it will arrive the aggravating factor of humidity, which, rising with the sirocco winds, will intensify the feeling of heat. The perceived temperatures could thus touch 43 degrees on Emilia, Veneto, Lombardy and Valpadana in general. Also hot in Liguria, with over 33 muggy degrees and perceptions of up to 39. In Turin, 34 actual degrees, but 38 perceived.

Heat and drought will continue to the bitter end until the end of August in the Center-South, while in the North on the weekend of 25-26 a first more organized perturbation will arrive, with heavy thunderstorms. According to the experts of 3bmeteo.com, from next weekend the African high pressure will be gradually replaced by cooler air arriving from the Atlantic.

Strong storms will thus arrive in the North, which at times will take on the appearance of real pseudo-tropical storms, with violent downpours which could discharge large quantities of water in a few minutes. The perturbation has already been renamed Beatrice.
