CALCIO MARKET – Coaches' waltz: Milan between Ancelotti and Conte

Today the last attempt for Ancelotti from Milan who always dreams of Conte: as an alternative Emery, Montella and Mihajlovic (if he doesn't go to Naples) – The waltz of the benches dominates the transfer market but in the meantime Juve strengthens: after Dybala it aims at Khedira and not neglects Nainggolan – Inter in difficulty: Mancini, like Tronchetti Provera, does not hide his fears.

CALCIO MARKET – Coaches' waltz: Milan between Ancelotti and Conte

And we are at five. After four meetings that went, so to speak, "in vain", Adriano Galliani will attempt a fifth and probably the last meeting with Carlo Ancelotti. “We're trying but it's not yet certain” the CEO commented to the Spanish journalists, and it is precisely that “anchor” that insinuates a question mark into a story that seemed closed. Because the former Real coach has never left any hopes open, at least publicly, for his return to the Rossoneri. Did Galliani manage to convince him in these three days in Madrid? Almost impossible so much so that, while waiting for the definitive answer (expected for this morning), Milan looks around.

In reality there would be an alternative and also quite welcome, so much so that many think that it is even the first choice. We are talking about Antonio Conte, the most suitable, according to Berlusconi, for the reconstruction of a team tenth in the standings, a bit like when he arrives at Juventus in the summer of 2011. The problem is that Conte is armored, indeed highly armored, by the national team Italian, provided that, in the meantime, external problems do not arise. In fact, the story of football betting is not over yet and the coach, in the event of failure to file, could also say goodbye to everyone and get back on the market.

Waiting for him would be Berlusconi and Galliani, ready to offer him golden bridges, full decision-making autonomy and an important budget to spend on the acquisition campaign. A tantalizing scenario, yet very complicated. Can a coach resign in the year of the European Championship? From memory we don't remember similar cases, with Conte however, as Juve know well, anything can happen.

Alternatively, the names of Emery (yesterday winner of the second consecutive Europa League with Sevilla), Montella (armored, however, by a termination clause) and Mihajlovic, sensationally back in the running, are always hot. In fact, the Serbian, who has been very close to Napoli in recent days, is taking his time waiting to understand what will happen around Milanello. However, the lead could already fade today: at 13 De Laurentiis and Benitez will meet the press in Naples and who knows if the coach's mystery will not be revealed. Technicians, but not only.

The player market is also about to ignite, especially with regard to Juventus and Inter. This morning Paulo Dybala will undergo medical tests with the bianconeri: a formality, after which the deal with Palermo (concluded on the basis of 35 million) can be considered concluded. Then it will be Sami Khedira's turn: the 28-year-old midfielder, released from Real Madrid, will sign a four-year contract worth 4 million plus bonuses per season.

For an unleashed Juve there is an Inter in a bit of difficulty, so much so as to arouse more than one concern in Roberto Mancini. Who had asked for Dybala, Kondogbia and Tourè: the first is now a Juventus player, the other two have been taken off the market by Monaco and Manchester City. Waiting to understand what will happen (the hopes of reaching the two have not yet completely faded), Ausilio probes the alternatives. There is insistent talk of Allan from Udinese, Thiago Motta from PSG and Bertolacci from Genoa, who could soon be joined by teammate Perotti.

Hot days also at home in Rome, where the Nainggolan case is taking center stage. The Belgian is co-owned with Cagliari and, at the moment, there is no agreement between the Giallorossi and the Sardinians. To unblock the impasse could be the young Viviani, that the rossoblu would like to include in the deal. We'll see, in the meantime Juve are at the window but it's clear that with Khedira the track is definitely getting colder. Unless one between Vidal and Pogba leaves… Because in the transfer market, it should be remembered, anything can happen.
