Transfer market: Higuain-Morata exchange, Inter on Nainggolan

The former Napoli coach Maurizio Sarri is close to signing with Chelsea and would have already asked to have the Argentine striker with him, already trained in blue – Inter all on the Belgian: valuation around 40 million.

Transfer market: Higuain-Morata exchange, Inter on Nainggolan

The transfer market goes live immediately, when this football season has yet to end (tomorrow is the Champions League final between Liverpool and Real Madrid) and the World Cup in Russia has yet to start. But there's no time to lose for big manoeuvres. The suggestive news of the day is that of the possible reunion between Maurizio Sarri and Gonzalo Higuain. The two lived a golden season together at Napoli (especially Pipita, who scored the record goals and has never achieved so much in the two seasons following Juventus) and they have remained on excellent terms, despite the Scudetto-rivalry of the last two years and the tensions between the blue fans, the which the Tuscan coach remains very close, and the Argentine center forward (who will go to the World Cup, together with his partner Dybala).

Sarri has just concluded his experience at Naples, which ended with zero trophies but with considerable technical growth and a strong harmony with the whole environment: for him we are now talking about Zenit but above all about Chelsea, which closed the Conte cycle. There is still nothing official but if the coach were to land in London, the first name he would write on the shopping list to be delivered to Abramovich would be Higuain's, in a possible exchange that would bring Morata back to Juventus. The assessment of the two is in fact similar: the Argentine, paid almost 100 million, is now worth half that given his age and one season, his last, certainly not exciting from the point of view of personal performance. The same valuation, around 50 million, for the Spanish forward who has played very little this year and in fact has not been called up by Roja.

It's not just the Morata-Higuain exchange that holds the bench. In fact, the other big names are also on the move: Napoli have already done the coup by taking Carlo Ancelotti (although it will then be necessary to hire at least 2-3 level players to strengthen the team), while Inter - unexpectedly qualified for the Champions League at the last day – is launching the assault on an old favorite of Spalletti, the Belgian from Roma Radja Nainggolan. The Nerazzurri would like to reassemble the midfield by also buying Barella from Cagliari: for both the valuation is around 40 million, for a total of 80 million, even if Inter will aim – especially in the negotiations with the Sardinians – to insert young players as a counterpart.
