Transfer market, Neymar at PSG unleashes the domino effect: Juve trembles, Milan hopes

The big day may have arrived. In these hours Neymar is about to define his move from Barcelona to PSG, for what would become in all respects the most expensive transfer in the history of football. In fact, no footballer has ever reached the value of 220 million euros, a figure that hasn't broken Sheikh Al-Thani and his faithful squire Al-Khelaifi in the slightest, determined to conclude an operation destined to establish jurisprudence.

In fact, the Brazilian will personally pay the release clause, obviously behind the sponsorship of Qatar: in doing so, PSG will avoid problems with UEFA and the player will benefit from it with a maxi salary of 30 million per season, to which a bonus of 40 will be added. (!) for the father-prosecutor. In short, a dizzying affair, destined to upset the balance of half of Europe: because from today, provided that the operation materialises, a domino effect of monumental proportions will be triggered.

The "Barça furioso" will throw itself on the market in search of a replacement and the names, obviously, are the big ones. The first on the list is Griezmann of Atletico Madrid (clause of 100 million), the second Coutinho of Liverpool (80), the third Dybala: Juve fans, even with all the necessary reassurances, still cannot sleep peacefully.

The arrival of Neymar will then create considerable imbalances in the Parisian dressing room, which is why someone could also ask for the transfer. This is the case of Cavani, rightfully on the list of Fassone and Mirabelli since yesterday: the Matador is a rather difficult dream to realize but not impossible, especially in this market. More realistically, however, Milan is betting on Diego Costa, even though the Spaniard promised himself to Atletico Madrid (in January) and doesn't want to hear reasons.

The Belotti affair has become more complicated (again yesterday Cairo reaffirmed his non-transferability), the candidacies of Aubameyang and Kalinic remain strong, the latter however linked above all to the departure of Bacca, in addition to the never forgotten Ibrahimovic, who however, at the moment, appears mostly as a suggestion.

In the meantime, today Inter will formalize the purchase of Vecino (yesterday's medical examinations are ok) and will close that of Dalbert, who Nice will release immediately after the Champions League preliminary match with Ajax (his arrival in Milan is scheduled for tomorrow) . The nerazzurri's French shopping will not end here: Sabatini has set his sights on the central defender of PSG Kimpembe and on the right wing of Caen Karamoh, young players little known to the general public but already considered of absolute level.

At the same time we will also work on the transfers, with Murillo and Jovetic heading towards Spain (Valencia the first, Seville the second) and Candreva surprisingly ahead of Perisic in the starting list. In fact, Manchester United seems to have let go, Chelsea on the other hand haven't and Spalletti would rather be deprived of the Italian rather than the Croatian.

Days of (apparent) calm instead at Juve, where we move in small steps on the usual objectives for defense (De Vrij) and midfield (Matuidi), without however forgetting the Keita issue. Everyone likes the Lazio full-back (Inter and Milan have presented important offers) but he has chosen the black and white: now we just have to see if the tug of war will be won by Lotito or Marotta.

Finally, Rome, ever closer to that Mahrez so desired by Di Francesco. Leicester continues to value him at least 40 million but good news arrived yesterday: the Foxes in fact bought Iheanacho from Manchester City, a clear sign that someone up front will leave soon. And all the clues, to the delight of Roma, lead right to the Algerian.
