Milan transfer market: made for Acerbi, now Balzaretti. While Silvestre approaches Inter

A hot day also for Milan, who have got their hands on Francesco Acerbi. Adriano Galliani received Enrico Preziosi and Pietro Lo Monaco yesterday evening at the headquarters in via Turati, effectively reaching an agreement for the young central defender, on the basis of 4 million for co-ownership. Now all we have to do is wait for Genoa and Chievo to reach an agreement: the parties, who met until late in the evening, have not yet found an agreement on the counterparts (there is talk of one between Paloschi, Ragusa, Cofie and Tachtsidis) and they will see this again morning. If everything goes as it should, Milan will be able to formalize the purchase of Acerbi. But the Rossoneri managing director is also moving on other fronts: after the meeting with Genoa, it was Palermo's turn in via Turati. Giorgio Perinetti, vice president and Luca Cattani, came to the office to define the co-ownership of Darmian (who moved to the rosanero outright) and to talk about Balzaretti and Silvestre (who, however, is very close to Inter).

The left-back is very popular, furthermore his contract expires in 2013 and for the moment he has no intention of renewing it, as admitted by his agent Alessandro Moggi: "There's no need to renew now, the player is under contract with Palermo until 2013. This is the only fact. Palermo will have to evaluate any offers and decide". An uncomfortable situation for the Sicilians, who risk losing the player on a free transfer in a few months. Milan has thrown them a "lifesaver": an exchange on par with Mesbah. Palermo took some time to reflect, but it is clear that the offer does not excite. But Adriano Galliani's day had begun early, with his summons to the Milanese offices of the Lega Calcio. At the entrance, the CEO had released some market statements: “After Thiago we are serene, there are other things to talk about. Real on Boateng? Never asked. Robinho to Malaga? It was just a pour parler but nothing concrete. Kaka at Milan? He has an unthinkable salary for Italian clubs, he can only go outside Italy and still has three years on his contract, our tax system does not allow us to pay those salaries. 100% he doesn't get to Milan."
