Transfer market: Thohir's Inter bet on Dzeko and duel with Juve for Nainggolan

"He who does not jump Rossonero is". Erick Thohir has chosen this slogan, a real must for all Inter fans, to express his first words in Italian as president of Inter. Yes, because the shareholders' meeting has ratified what no one would have expected, at least until a few hours ago: in fact, the new Board of Directors will be directed by the Indonesian tycoon. The role of vice president will fall to Angelo Mario Moratti, Massimo's son who instead will hold "only" an honorary position. And so the scene is all for him, the new boss of Inter who is already making the fans dream. “Our goal is to bring the club to be economically and financially healthy to compete internationally – explained Thohir. – We want to make Inter successful, beautiful and exciting to watch, in short, stronger than this one in the space of two or three years. In any case, Mazzarri is doing an excellent job, we have full confidence in him”.

The guidelines are drawn: the club will have to grow, but gradually. So no crazy spending on the style of sheikhs and Russians, but quality grafts, possibly young. This is how the new management will move in the January market, except for special occasions. One could be Edin Dzeko, considered ideal for making up for Milito's absence. Furthermore, the Bosnian is not finding much space with Pellegrini and would leave City in a hurry to move to Milan. The priority, however, concerns the flanks: Mazzarri has asked for reinforcements and he will certainly have them. In addition to Isla (for some time on Branca and Ausilio's notebook), Insùa from Atletico Madrid and Vrsaljko from Genoa are liked. But the dream is always Radja Nainggolan, the Belgian midfielder who Thohir also likes for his Indonesian origins.

Here, however, there will be a clash. First of all with Cellino, always unwilling to give up his jewels, then with Juventus, who have been courting the Rossoblu midfielder for some time. Conte asked for reinforcements in the middle and Nainggolan would be right up his alley. However, it is unlikely that the Belgian will be able to leave Cagliari in January, which is why Marotta continues to work alongside Porto. The objective is Fernando, whose contract will expire in June 2014. Juve have excellent chances of signing him on a free transfer for next season, but in Corso Galileo Ferraris they are evaluating the hypothesis of bringing forward his arrival, subject to compensation for the Portuguese.

But Conte's real dream concerns the wingers, a role currently covered by Pepe alone (and also chronically injured). In Marotta's notebook there are the names of Biabiany and Menez, and if the former has been popular for some time but costs 8 million, the latter will be released on a free transfer in 2014. The same argument made previously for Fernando therefore applies, also because the money they certainly don't abound. Unless a sacrifice is made, which right now looks like Mirko Vucinic. The Montenegrin is one of Conte's loyalists, but Llorente's explosion and the desire for a 4-3-3 (relatively suitable form for him) could send him away from Turin as early as January.

It will be a warm winter for Napoli too, given the warlike intentions of Aurelio De Laurentiis. "I will invest 50 million in the next transfer market" the blue president let it be known, and given the previous ones we can believe him. The goal is to strengthen the team in all departments: the defense (like Antonelli from Genoa and if Cannavaro leaves, Skrtel could arrive from Liverpool), the midfield (in addition to the aforementioned Fernando, Matuidi is also interested) and the attack (it would be a Higuain deputy, the hot name is that of Finnbogasson of Heerenveen).

The ranking would also require Roma to make investments, but Sabatini seems to be thinking more about the future than the present. The track of the moment in fact leads to the young Iturbe, of which Firstonline reported to you during the week. The Argentine plays for Verona but is owned by Porto: the redemption is set at 15 million, a price that tempts the Giallorossi. However, he also keeps an eye on Inter, who from today are a serious competitor on every quality young player in our championship. He won't even be watching Lazio, which needs a deputy Klose. He will come, even if not immediately. Lotito and Tare blocked Filip Djordjevic for June, the 26-year-old Serbian from Nantes, who has already scored 8 goals in 13 Ligue 1 games and will arrive on a free transfer. The rest is linked to Hernanes: should he leave, Lodi could land in Rome, ending up on the edge of Gasperini's Genoa.

Finally Milan. We certainly haven't forgotten about the Rossoneri, it's just that right now on Via Aldo Rossi (by the way, you have to get used to it!) there is so much confusion. Who will design the winter market? The outgoing CEO Adriano Galliani (for him there is a political future in Forza Italia) or Barbara Berlusconi's men? What is certain is that, in addition to Rami, Honda will also arrive, whose wife was spotted in Milan in recent days looking for a home. The rest will depend on many things, starting with the coach. Which for now is Massimiliano Allegri, but watch out for Inzaghi. Superpippo, whose contract will expire in 2016, has been pawing for months: will the coach from Livorno be able to get the better of it once again?
