Transfer market: Juve on Ramsey and Trincao, Milan runs for cover

Juve are once again the most active and are very close to the first two shots – Milan are betting on Sensi and/or Carrasco to hit the Champions League – The Icardi case breaks out at Inter: it will take all of Marotta's ability to reach the renewal

Transfer market: Juve on Ramsey and Trincao, Milan runs for cover

It's the January market but it looks like the summer one. In fact, the big names from all over Europe are taking advantage of this winter window more for next season than for the current one, obviously with some due exceptions. Let's start from this and therefore from Elliott's Milan, decided (forced?) to move already now to chase a substantially forced fourth place. Champions League qualification is essentialle for the objectives of the American Fund which owns Milan, but without reinforcements it risks remaining only a dream. The problem, as everyone knows, is not the economic availability of the Singer but UEFA, whose sanctions (budget balance within 3 years, under penalty of exclusion from the cups) make a high-level transfer market essentially impossible. For this Elliott has decided to appeal to the Lausanne Tas, while awaiting the sentence, however it is better not to irritate anyone and therefore move with the lights off, in the hope of hitting the right deal both technically and economically. The poll for Sensi (Sassuolo is asking for 25 million but could agree to the loan) was joined by the one for Ferreira Carrasco, Dalian Yifang striker.

The Portuguese, ex Atletico Madrid, would suit Gattuso both in terms of technical characteristics (he plays mainly as a left winger) and personal data (25 years old), the problem concerns the astronomical salary of 10 million per season which, not surprisingly, convinced him to leave Spain for China. Leonardo aims to leverage the player's desire for revenge, whose choice is paying off economically but certainly not in football, as demonstrated by coach Santos' lack of call-ups for the national team. We'll see what happens in the meantime Milan is preparing to collect 7,5 million from Shenzen for Borini and 13 from Trabzonspor for the Kucka-Sosa duo, sold a year and a half ago but not yet paid: the Rossoneri turned to Fifa which, once the fact was ascertained, blocked the Turkish transfer market until the payment was made. These are the maneuvers of the present, but then there is a future to plan and Milan too, albeit with relative certainties, are starting to think about it. Offers are pouring in from England and China for Kessie and both the club that the player carefully examine: 50 million cash would guarantee a sumptuous capital gain, 10 per year of engagement an increase of almost 5 times compared to the current one.

However, the most advanced of all, as always in recent years, remains Juventus, already very close to closing a big coup for next season. Aaron Ramsey has now convinced himself to accept the five-year Juventus contract worth 6,5 million a year, so much so that some even speculate that he will arrive in January: however, it is difficult to convince Arsenal, who are rather clear-cut in closing through their coach Emery. Meanwhile Paratici continues his axis with Jorge Mendes and so, after the coups Ronaldo and Cancelo, here is another Portuguese next to move to Turin: it is Trincao, a 19-year-old striker from Braga bought for 15 million. The Lady, after burning the competition from Inter, aims to wean him in team B (the one that plays the Lega Pro championship) and then promote him at the right moment. Internal market, at least for the moment, instead for Inter and Naplesin the strict sense of the term. In fact, players already under contract such as Icardi and Koulibaly are holding the court who, for different reasons, could pack their bags in the near future. The Inter captain is grappling with a difficult renewal, especially now that Marotta has arrived: the club's hard line is even more marked, as is that of Wanda Nara, who is determined to get the best possible contract. There are two nodes: salary (7 million for the Nerazzurri offer, 9 for Icardi's request) and termination clause (the club wants to remove it, the player doesn't).

Of course, the Argentine has an existing contract until 2021 and therefore Inter are in no hurry, but it goes without saying that a player like that can't be restrained by force. In short, an agreement is good for everyone, as in the case of Koulibaly. Here there are no renewal problems but maxi offers that rain down from all over Europe. The latest, in chronological order, comes from Barcelona, ready to put 120 million on the plate: Napoli would lose one of the best defenders in the world, but with that amount they could strengthen a little in all departments, not to mention that the Senegalese would earn astronomical figures. De Laurentiis and Giuntoli are silent, in the meantime, however, they are probing Barella (offered 20 million plus Ounas and Younes to Cagliari, Inter are also on him), Kouame (contacts already started with Preziosi) and Almendra (Boca Juniors are asking for at least 15 million), without forgetting Cavani, whose eventual arrival would cancel, at least for the fans, the bitterness for the sale of Koulibaly. In short, great maneuvers for the future, demonstrating that the winter market is now nothing more than the continuation of the summer one.
