TRANSFER MARKET – Juve-Psg: Ibrahimovic for Vidal? Summer intrigue

It's always a transfer market. Although the season hasn't finished yet, executives and agents have already jumped on the negotiating carousel. Because the strategies are being developed now, even if the dances will only start in a few weeks. And so, between meetings, intrigues, suggestions or simply hoaxes, the whirlwind has already begun. Next summer will be a very special one, especially for our teams. Crushed by the European superpowers (by the way: yesterday the official purchase of Mario Goetze by Bayern Munich, for the modest sum of 37 million!), Juventus, Milan and Inter have to deal with the servant. The goal is difficult and ambitious: to safeguard budgets while increasing competitiveness. The speech mainly concerns Juve, the only one already certain of participating in the Champions League, as well as the most advanced in the realization of its project.

Agnelli and Marotta will start again from Conte, provided that the latter does not let himself be too enticed by foreign sirens, especially the English. Chelsea call, the manager thanks and in the meantime sends transversal messages to his management. Conte wants a salary increase (Abramovich offered him 5 million, Agnelli will have to act accordingly) and a competitive team in Europe as well. Antonio is well aware that next year, after two Scudettos in a row, winning the third won't be enough to appease an environment hungry for the Champions League, provided that the team manages to repeat itself on these standards also in Italy, where the others will strengthen to reach it . In short, the only way is to strengthen the squad with two or three top players, who added to those who already exist would constitute a real army.

It is above all the attack that needs luxury reinforcements; Llorente will arrive, it's true, but in addition to the Spaniard, a classy striker is needed. At Juve everyone has seen what Van Persie has done, pursued for a long time last summer, who proved to be decisive in Manchester United's conquest of the Premier League. The problem, then as now, is represented by the stellar salaries that Italian football can no longer pay. Provided that the top player in question does not decide to reduce it, perhaps for a lifestyle choice. This could be the case with Ibrahimovic, fed up with the Parisian routine and eager to return to Serie A, his favorite garden. Glimmers, on both sides, have already arrived. If they are roses, they will flourish, but beware of the sheikhs, who could demand a precious piece like Vidal in exchange.

Further back Milan and Inter, if only because their rankings, albeit different, do not yet allow for detailed planning. Many things will depend on third place or not, starting with Allegri's future. It's hard to imagine the coach from Livorno on the Milan bench in the absence of the Champions League, but even in the presence of it, the evil ones whisper. Allegri is tired of being questioned whenever difficulties arise, furthermore his contract expires in 2014, and for now no renewal offers have arrived from Via Turati.

To date, the most probable scenario is that of the continuation of the relationship, but there are no absolute certainties. For the rest, however, no major maneuvers are foreseen: a central defender will arrive (perhaps two, a lot will depend on Zapata's redemption), a couple of midfielders and as many forwards, who will replace the departing Robinho and Bojan. Lavezzi was spotted in Milan on Monday, recently prodigal of sweet words towards the Rossoneri world, and market rumors immediately aroused. Impressions? We're in the fantasy market, but sometimes it becomes reality. Inter's revolution began with a…confirmation! Massimo Moratti has decided to once again entrust his creation to Stramaccioni, evidently considered innocent (or almost) of the current havoc. The rest, however, is in the balance, starting with Branca and Ausilio.

From France they argue that the patron would already have an agreement with Leonardo, who would return to the role of technical director, in Italy more caution reigns. The impression is that Moratti is more angry with the medical-athletic staff than with the coaching one, so the first changes could start from there. And then there's the team, which will be extensively renewed. And if some names have already been made official (the forwards Botta and Laxalt, the defender Andreolli) or almost (with Icardi everything is done), many others have yet to come out into the open. The market has yet to start, and we can't wait.
