CALCIO MARKET – Juve, Milan, Inter: all in maneuver but the coup is not around the corner

For Juve the most probable solution in attack is the return of the young Gabbiadini even if the paths Drogba and Llorente remain open – Sorrentino, Schelotto and Lodi will arrive for Inter – Milan are trying to keep Robinho and probe Santon for defense if Abate or Antonini had to pack their bags to go abroad

CALCIO MARKET – Juve, Milan, Inter: all in maneuver but the coup is not around the corner

It was the Monday of the market summits. For Juventus, for Inter and for Milan. The states general of the big names in Italy met in their respective bases to take stock of the negotiations. Crucial meetings, because now is no longer the time for small talk, but for actions that can change the fate of the teams.

Spotlights on Via Turati, yesterday the crossroads of numerous market operations. The Milan headquarters in fact hosted a summit between Galliani, Allegri and Berlusconi, the latter connected by videoconference. The strategy is clear: to thin out the squad and shore it up with targeted reinforcements. The attack, at least for now, will remain as it is, also because Robinho won't move from Milan, at least according to Adriano Galliani: “I don't know how to say it anymore, he's staying. He is delighted to be here. We have five strikers and we remain absolutely as we are now." Yes, but in Brazil they haven't completely lost hope yet. “The talks are still ongoing, independently of any negotiation – revealed the vice president of Santos Odilio Rodrigues. – It's a very difficult operation, almost impossible, but in any case Robinho is always welcome in Santos, at any moment”. While waiting to understand what will happen on the Milan – San Paolo axis, the Rossoneri took stock of the other negotiations. The visit to the office by the prosecutor Claudio Vigorelli was by no means accidental: the agent represents Abbiati (who could be offered a renewal until 2014) and above all Davide Santon. The former Inter full-back, now at Newcastle, is very popular and is considered the ideal replacement for Abate and Antonini. Yes, because if Zenit likes the former a lot (which has already offered 10 million), the latter also has his admirers. Above all Galatasaray, who yesterday visited Milan in the figure of Aysal Unal, the new president of the Istanbul club. The Turks also like Mesbah, which could, however, be part of other plans. In fact, Galliani has already opened a discussion with Parma in which Zaccardo would also end up involved. Allegri wants a central defender, Donadoni a left-back: the pieces would fit perfectly. But Zaccardo is not the only name for the defense. Galliani and Allegri also carefully monitor the Astori track (Cagliari), while Rolando del Porto is not convinced.

On the other hand, Kevin Strootman is unlikely to arrive, at least in January. "In football there are always voices," said the Dutchman. – It's nice when your name is mentioned, but I play for PSV and I want to win the Eredivisie, so right now I'm not thinking about other things." Instead, the Inter summit was more early in the morning, at the end of which Massimo Moratti spoke: “We're not in a position to spend, the same goes for the others. However, the players we follow are good players." The names are the usual and don't inflame the fans' imagination at all: Schelotto, Sorrentino and Lodi. But the summit in Corso Vittorio Emanuele also served to take stock of the next summer transfer market, the one in which the big names will return to tour. The idea is to replace Diego Milito, who will turn 34 in June. He will need a purebred striker, someone like Edin Dzeko, just to give an example. And so Branca and Ausilio got to work, contacting the Bosnian's agents. For now, just a survey, but as we know, big operations are born this way. Dzeko is not the only idea for next season: Robert Lewandowski is also very popular, but Borussia Dortmund will not give up easily. Easier (and certainly cheaper) to get to Leandro Damiao of the Internacional de Porto Alegre, formerly in the orbit of Milan.

The meeting at Juventus was less intense, where the transfer market isn't that urgent. Andrea Agnelli wanted to meet the team after the internal knockout with Sampdoria, then he took the opportunity to take stock of Marotta and Paratici. The mosaic is still missing a piece, but it is the most precious: the attacker. In this regard, a statement by Didier Drogba should be recorded: “Right now there is a lot of talk about my future, but in reality up to now I have only heard rumors, no club has contacted me. I have a contract with Shanghai." However, the reality is very different: Juve and Milan have already spoken to the Ivorian, now they are waiting to see if the latter will lower his demands or not. On the other hand, it will be difficult for Llorente to arrive immediately, while the Borriello, Immobile and Gabbiadini tracks remain hot.
