And then they call it the repair market! Looking at the names circulating in this month of negotiations, one would almost think that the one that ended at 23pm yesterday was the summer session, not the winter one. And to think that some deals didn't close by a whisker, otherwise we would have had a truly unforgettable market. However, the shots scored are very respectable, and have involved all the greats of the championship. The cover, also for temporal issues, is taken by Hernanes, definitely the most succulent deal of January. After three days of twists and turns, the soap opera ended with the happy ending most awaited by the Nerazzurri fans: the Brazilian signed a contract until 2018. The figures of the operation are very important, almost from other times given the austerity of the last few years at Inter. Approximately 18 million euros went to Lazio, to the satisfaction of Lotito who therefore did not discount his colleague Thohir.

The deal unblocked yesterday morning, when the Brazilian, after a sleepless night, publicly exposed himself taking responsibility for the sale in front of the Lazio square, angry against Lotito and Tare. “The choice to leave Rome is mine alone – he explained on the official Lazio radio. – Thank you all, but I don't think about it. I want to go to the end with my decision." From there it was a short step: in the late morning Hernanes landed in Milan, where after a pit stop in Ghelfi's administrative offices he underwent the usual medical tests, before signing the contract with his new club.

Who lived a decidedly turbulent day, and not just because of the Hernanes affair. Branca, Ausilio and Fassone worked for a long time on the outgoing market, however only managing to place Belfodil at Livorno (loan). For Ranocchia at Galatasaray we will continue to talk in the coming days (the Turkish market closes on 3 February), nothing to do on the attacking front, despite a contact between Branca and Marotta had rekindled hopes of seeing Vucinic or Quagliarella in the Nerazzurri and Guarin in White black. The players in question will instead remain in their respective teams, with Inter "forced" to regenerate the Colombian and Juve to keep six ultra-competitive strikers (!) in the squad. After the arrival of Osvaldo ("being here is a dream, I want to stay for many years" his first words), Marotta tried in every way to thin out the offensive department, without succeeding. Quagliarella and Giovinco also said no to Genoa and Vucinic reiterated his intention to stay with black and white. No last-minute bang for Milan either, despite Galliani's attempt to bring Biabiany to the Rossoneri. However, there was no agreement with Parma on the terms of the operation (Ghirardi demanded the obligation to buy in June) and the Frenchman thus remained in Emilia, however refusing advantageous offers such as those from Guangzhou and Lazio. Outgoing operations instead for Rome, Naples and Fiorentina: the Giallorossi have sold Marquinho to Verona (loan with the right to buy half), the blues Armero to West Ham and Paolo Cannavaro to Sassuolo (both on loan with the right to buy), the viola Iakovenko to Malaga (free loan).
