Transfer market: Ibra in sight, Conte pawing, goodbye Naples

A little more patience, then it will really be a transfer market. Missing a month and a half to the official reopening of the lists (January 2nd, closes on the 31st) but the big ones, of course, have already started to move, assuming they've ever stopped doing so. All, none excluded, are involved in the tour, some to buy and some to sell, in the hope of hitting the right pieces and achieving their respective goals. Let's start with Inter, "forced", against his will, to take to the track by Conte's outbursts, extremely anxious (euphemism) to receive reinforcements. On the coach's list there are above all a midfielder and a striker, able to increase the value of the squad but also to make the most squeezed elements catch their breath. The hottest names at the moment are those of Kulusevski, De Paul and Giroud, very different profiles but at the same time welcome.

The young Swede of Macedonian origin is the big news of this championship: Parma are enjoying him but it will be Atalanta, owner of the card, who will get a good amount from him. unless you decide to keep it for another year. Much will depend on Inter and how much they will be willing to offer: faced with an important sum (no less than 30 million) Kulusevski will leave, vice versa the season will end in Emilia and the discussion will be postponed to June. More or less the same figures revolve around the name of De Paul, retained by Udinese in the summer but still in the market odor. It's clear that the Nerazzurri will bet on only one of the two, provided that Marotta doesn't ultimately decide to raise the bar and focus on a thicker profile.

In this case the ideal would be Rakitic, unhappy with the little employment in Barcelona and decided to change the scene. However, the problem, more than the price tag, would be the salary given that the 31-year-old Croatian receives 8 million per season, a figure much higher than the stakes set by Suning. But a sacrifice, if Conte is to be satisfied, must be made and not just in midfield. The other department that needs help is the attack, currently stopped at only Lautaro Martinez, Lukaku and the baby Esposito, definitely not much if you want to run on several fronts. Giroud, sidelined by Lampard's Chelsea, would be an ideal deputy while the Mertens track, which emerged in recent days, is not taking off due to the coach's perplexities, but also and above all his requests, fixed on a three-year period from 6 million to season.

then watch out forcontingency Florenzi, growing more and more after the provision of Fonseca, who excluded him without explanation (at least in public) from the last few races. Conte has really liked the winger since his days with the national team and it is clear that he would give great consideration to the transfer, especially if things with Roma do not improve. However, the team that needs the transfer market the most is Milan, as can be seen from the disastrous start to the season. In the summer, Maldini and Boban focused a lot on young players, but now it's time to change their strategy by focusing on profiles of experience and depth, obviously compatible with the constraints imposed by UEFA.

The name that has been making dreams come true for weeks is that of Ibrahimovic, soon free from contractual ties with the Los Angeles Galaxy, greeted with a tweet from his team ("now you can go back to watching baseball"), just to make it clear that the years go by (in October he turned 38) but the grit it's always the same. Zlatan has not yet decided what to do, what is certain is that he would very much like a return to Italy and in this case to Milan, a city also loved by his wife. However, also keep an eye on Sinisa Mihajlovic's Bologna, whose story has greatly affected the Swede who, as a good friend, would gladly come to help him in this difficult moment: it would be a move from the heart, certainly not economic, a sort of unprecedented for one like him and perhaps, precisely for this reason, even more tantalizing. Finally, on his trail is Napoli whose quotations, after the chaos of the past few weeks, have dropped a bit.

On closer inspection, however, your purchase it could be the ideal move for De Laurentiis, called to one of his "coup de theatre" to reverse the negativity of the moment. We'll see, but it's clear that the Rossoneri can't limit themselves to just Ibra. Maldini would like to give Pioli a reinforcement by department starting with the midfield: the hot name is that of Xhaka from Arsenal, breaking with the environment and determined to change the scene. Behind, however, we return to talk about Demiral, who has now become the last defender in order of approval for Sarri, who Juve could also sell after having held out in the summer. With the bianconeri then, if Ibra does not materialize, an attempt will also be made for Mandzukic, although he now seems destined for the Premier League. Financing all of this will not be easy and will therefore make some sales indispensable, above all those of Kessié (Wolverhampton), Borini and Rodriguez, now too many in Pioli's squad.

For Juve, on the other hand, the winter one will be mainly a thinning market, in an attempt to complete the summer work. In addition to the Croatian and Demiral (or Rugani), a midfielder could leave: Emre Can is the most likely but watch out for Rabiot, so far very far from expectations. On the other hand, it is useless to fantasize too much about Ronaldo's speech, even if the foreign press, especially the Spanish one, wrote a bit of everything about his farewell to Juventus. The truth is that CR7 will remain in Turin at least until June, after which nothing must be ruled out, regardless of the contract in place until 2021. Revolution is in the air instead in Naples, where the chaos-withdrawal has led De Laurentiis to close a cycle. Several historical players such as Mertens, Callejon and Insigne seem destined to leave, even if this is unlikely to happen in January, at least for all three.

However, the first two are about to expire, which is why ADL would have every interest in depriving themselves of them immediately, thus avoiding losing them on a free transfer. Watch out for Allan then, one of the most extremist in the now famous post-Salzburg chaos: the Brazilian has never digested the failure to sell to PSG and this time he could really leave, albeit for a much lower figure than the 65 million he refused a year ago. In short, the January transfer market promises to be crackling and full of surprises as never before: the times in which it was defined as "repair", after all, are long gone.
