The clamorous blows from PSG have upset the transfer market but the major Italian clubs are preparing sparks – Juve on Spinazzola, Keita and Strootman or Emre Can – The Kondogbia case breaks out in Inter but Scick is close – Milan is waiting for a top striker – Rpoma: if Mahrez doesn't arrive, he will bet on Berardi

Transfer market, tussle in sight: Juve, Inter, Milan and Rome on the assault

The last reflections, then it will be tussle. On the pitch, which on Sunday will give us the first Italian trophy of the season (Italian Super Cup between Juventus and Lazio) and on the market, ready to officially enter what everyone knows as the "final rush". Monstrous deals are looming abroad (Mbappé at PSG above all, but also Barcelona's moves for Coutinho and Dembelé) but even here we don't joke at all.

Juventus, for example, is always on the hunt for four players: a midfielder, a winger, a central defender and a full-back, possibly capable of playing both on the right and on the left. Let's start with the latter who responds to Spinazzola's identikit. The youngster from Atalanta, already owned by the Bianconeri but only starting from 2018, is on pole in Allegri's list. Ductile and already shrewd, the coach would make false cards to bring him to Turin a year early, in order to replace Dani Alves in the best possible way (Lichtsteiner is leaving and De Sciglio alone is not enough) but also to give some rest to Alex Sandro, who remained in black and white despite the advances of Chelsea.

So far Atalanta has resisted but Gasperini, in his heart, already knows that Juve will probably win: that's why he asked Percassi to buy him Laxalt and decided not to summon Leonardo for the friendly match in Valencia. If the marriage were to materialize, Asamoah would leave Turin, destined for Galatasaray for 7 million. It being understood that everything is silent on the central defender issue (the candidacies of De Vrij and Garay remain alive), the big shots will come from the waist up. Marotta now has two names on his notebook as regards the midfielder: Strootman and Emre Can.

The first is very popular but costs 45 million (Roma will not discount), the second is more offensive and talented and can be taken away from Liverpool for 30. To date, there have not yet been any official moves but Juve has decided to move immediately after the Super Cup. The match in Rome should also represent the dead-line for the Keita affair, promised for some time to Allegri but armored by a furious Lotito over the non-renewal of the contract. Hot days, indeed very hot, even at Inter. The purchase of Schick now seems to have been done, that of Emre Mor is a little further away but not even that much. Sabatini is thus designing a respectable formation for Spalletti, who will therefore be able to take advantage of good feet and youth.

Outgoing, in addition to the official sale of Medel to Besiktas (3 million) and the increasingly probable one of Murillo to Valencia, the Kondogbia case remains to be unraveled. The Frenchman has decided to make a break by not showing up for training, Inter have taken note of this but don't intend to give him away to anyone: the "usual" Valencia offers a loan with the right to buy for 20 million, Sabatini asks for the obligation to 30. The striker issue for Milan is still unresolved, with the decision to move only after mid-August. The big names are the usual but all difficult to reach: Diego Costa only wants Atletico Madrid, Aubameyang costs too much, Belotti is non-transferable and Ibrahimovic seems destined to stay at Manchester United. So here is that in addition to the usual Kalinic (he too, however, begins to get impatient) the name of Cavani appears, a possible departure should Mbappé also arrive. Like Milan, Roma have also got bogged down on the attack issue, in this case on the right wing.

Salah's replacement was supposed to be Mahrez but Leicester continue to hold out and not give the go-ahead despite the latest offer of 30 million plus bonuses. The Giallorossi will wait a few more days, then they will move their sights on Berardi, who has always been a pupil of Di Francesco.
