Football: Milan-Juventus, peace made. Indeed not

The violence that emerged before, during and after the disputed match is now turning into an excessive and unconvincing fair play – Galliani: “Peace made, but the heart still bleeds on the non-goal goal” – Agnelli: “Never been war” – A Zamparini takes care of unmasking the renewed idyll, who on the governance of the League: "When they have to divide the loot...".

Football: Milan-Juventus, peace made. Indeed not

Andrea Agnelli: "Milan have apologized". But of what?, the Milan supporters would say, still convinced that they have suffered the greatest wrong in history. Adriano Galliani: "Peace made, but the heart still bleeds on Muntari's non-goal". In short, peace made yes or no?, the Juventus players would say instead, exhausted from having ended up once again in the eye of the storm despite the purgatory-Calciopoli. The two protagonists of the football tussle of the century, the one that followed (and, to tell the truth, also preceded) the last Saturday's big Milan-Juve match which saw the referee's little workshop of horrors go on stage, they must not have very clear ideas.

The impression is that we are passing from extreme anger (and, given the mistakes against the two teams, especially Milan, partially justified) to an almost nauseating fair play, which pleases football lovers the screamed one, but certainly clashes with a rivalry that exists, that must exist and that it is right that there is. "Match distorted", "The thieves are back", "Championship decided at the table", the Rossoneri were indignant in the aftermath of the crime, up to that reprehensible "Head of c ..." addressed on live TV to the Juventus coach Conte by the king of "journalists-fans", Carlo Pellegatti.

Apologies dutiful (and perhaps even insufficient), however, it would be nice to see from now on, even within the confines of civilization, a real, sporting rivalry worthy of the two most titled teams in Italy that they are playing for a Scudetto and not just any Berlusconi Trophy.

And instead this sudden "we love each other" appears in turn as an exacerbation, almost on par with the obscene verbal violence that emerged before, during and after Milan-Juventus. Like two children who have realized that they have done it big and then go overboard with the sweetness. So much so that Milan himself made a point of clarifying: “Galiani's apologies are personal, irritation remains within the club at the 'strategy of tension' created by Juventus in the days leading up to the match”.

Good thing that the always provocative president of Palermo, Maurizio Zamparini, AC Milan's next opponent, had already thought about unmasking the moving picture: “When they have to divide the spoils (referring to the Lega assembly on the new governance, ed) Milan and Juve stay together. And in any case, on Saturday evening the error was collective. I'm not afraid of compensation: on the contrary, with the Rossoneri they should repay us for everything they took away from us with Siena". Not bad.

Meanwhile, the Juventus president Andrea Agnelli intervened with certainty on the (alleged) renewed Milan-Juve idyll: "Relations between Juve and Milan have always been good, there hasn't been any war." Well, we didn't think so. Anyway we'll see: appointment at the next arbitration wrong.
