With Ventura the guide of the senior national team will remain therefore in the hands of a coach who has just left the bench of a Turin team: Antonio Conte with Juve (with whom he won three consecutive championships), Ventura with the grenades.
The news came directly from the FIGC president, Charles Tavecchio, who communicated to the Federal Council that there is an agreement with Giampiero Ventura, who will be the blue coach for the next two years and will take up his new role immediately after the end of the European Championship, when Conte will go to train the English Chelsea. The federal number one communicated that the choice fell on Ventura due to his experience, group management and important moral qualities.
