Football and finance: Saras still losing, Moratti closes with Thohir?

It should be noted that, from a financial point of view, Inter has no ties to Angelo Moratti Sapa, as the football club is controlled by Internazionale Holding, which belongs directly to Massimo Moratti - But the family oil company pays also this year in difficult conditions.

Football and finance: Saras still losing, Moratti closes with Thohir?

The safe of the Moratti family goes on a diet for the fourth consecutive year, while the negotiations between Massimo Moratti and the Indonesian tycoon Tohir for the sale of a substantial package from Inter are getting hotter. According to Radiocor, Angelo Moratti Sapa, jointly controlled by the brothers Massimo and Gian Marco, closed the 2012 financial statements substantially in balance (to be exact, with a profit of 132 thousand euros carried forward) and did not distribute dividends.

Being a pure holding, everything is linked to the fate of Sapa's main stake, Saras, 50% controlled after the recent sale of a minority stake to the Russians of Rosneft. The oil company has closed the last few years with a loss due to the refining crisis and therefore has not sent profits, in the form of coupons, to the highest level of the chain. A trend that has now been consolidated since 2008, the last financial year closed by the safe with a substantial profit (about 100 million) and which risks being confirmed again this year, given that Saras closed 2012 with an operating loss of 154 million without detaching coupons. It should be noted that, from a financial point of view, Inter has no ties to Angelo Moratti Sapa, since the football club is controlled by Internazionale Holding, a company directly headed by Massimo Moratti.
