A no-holds-barred battle for Serie A TV rights for the 2015-18 seasons is expected. According to reports from Radiocor, Mediaset, Sky Italia and Fox Sports have presented offers for four out of five rights packages, namely the ABCD slots, while Eurosport has presented an offer for only one package.
The three main contenders therefore presented offers both for the basic 8-team packages on the satellite platform and on the digital terrestrial platform and for the exclusive 12-team package. In addition to these, they presented a proposal for ancillary rights (interviews, etc.) included in package B.
