The long bridge of the 2 June allows for a double free admission to the MArRC. For the Republic Day, in fact, on the initiative of Minister of Culture, Gennaro Sangiuliano, it will be possible to enter all state museums and archaeological areas for free. An opportunity that will be revived on June 4 with the traditional Sunday appointment at the Museum.

The magnificent Riace Bronzes


The itinerary was developed on four levels in chronological and thematic order, which ends with the hall of the magnificent Riace and Portielo Bronzes. 200 showcases with thousands of exhibits on display, from prehistory to the late imperial age. Furthermore, it will be possible to interact with the Museum's social channels through the hashtags #MArRC, #museitaliani, #2giugnoalmuseo and #domenicalmuseo.

In anticipation of the inauguration of the new major exhibition “For the gods and for men. Music
and dance in antiquity”, in Piazza Paolo Orsi you can still visit the exhibition “Sullo
apothecary shelf. Pharmacy jars in eighteenth-century Calabria”, curated by the director
Malacrino together with the archaeologists Mariangela Preta and Maria Domenica Lo Faro. To her
to add the exhibition “The Riace Bronzes. A journey through images”, also edited
by the director of the MArRC with splendid photographs by Luigi Spina, and the small section
“Depositos in Mostra”, curated by the director Malacrino and the official archaeologist Daniela
Constantius.
