New methods for high school graduation (from 2019) and for becoming teachers. The Council of Ministers has definitively approved the eight implementing decrees of law 107 (Good school). The provisions also redesign professional education, provide for new resources for the right to study and introduce innovations for the education of the 0-6 age group, for schools abroad and for the inclusion of disabled pupils.

The measures approved today in the Council of Ministers "further qualify our country's education system", he said Minister Valeria Fedeli recalling that "they are the result of a long process of consultation" and of a "wide comparison that served to improve and enrich the texts".

The minister explained that the Government has exercised eight of the nine powers envisaged by the reform approved in July 2015. The ninth concerned the revision of the Consolidated Text on schools for which a specific and subsequent enabling bill is envisaged. "The approved measures - added the minister - are all connected by a common thread: to improve the quality of the national education system".
