The Btp Italia has exceeded the threshold of 2 billion in the collection of orders accumulated between yesterday and this morning. The security, indexed to Italian inflation and aimed above all at retail investors, yesterday, the first day of the offer, collected 34.084 orders for a total of 1,562 billion euros.
This morning, shortly after 10, it raised another 30 million, thus exceeding two billion euros. Order picking will continue through Thursday evening and the Italian Treasury has said it will not cap demand. The first indications assumed funding of 1,5-2 billion, an amount that has therefore already been reached.
The share, listed on the Mot, can also be subscribed by the investor directly through his own home banking. The BTP Italia offers a guaranteed minimum coupon of 2,25%, indicated last Friday, while the final real coupon will be indicated on March 22nd.
