Broadband: no decree, plan postponed to September-October

No decree on the broadband development plan: the provision expected for this week by the Government has been skipped, which has decided to address the issue between September and October through bills and CIPE resolutions.

The announcement came today from the Undersecretary for Development, Antonello Giacomelli, who explained that the Executive did not want to use the decree because the requirements of "necessity and urgency" envisaged by the Constitution for this legislative instrument were lacking.

“There is no need for a primary standard for a series of instruments and we will go directly to the Cipe between September and October – said Giacomelli -. It is difficult to justify the urgency and therefore in the next few days we will see how to proceed at Palazzo Chigi ".
