The House of Commons approved the text of the Brexit law amid controversy: now the text of the law, presented by the May government, passes to the Lords who should approve it on 7 March. In the event of changes, the last word belongs to the Chamber. By the end of March Theresa May wants to start the procedure with the EU, meanwhile today the British premier met with Italian Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni, who hoped that "the negotiations on Great Britain's exit from Europe will not be destructive, and that Italians residing in the UK will be respected and treated well".
