Brexit, the appeal to the Court in December

The British Supreme Court has announced the long-awaited date of the appeal hearing requested by the Government against the decision taken last week by the High Court in London, which established the need to seek the opinion of Parliament before starting the official release of the United Kingdom from the European Union, activating the now famous article 50 of the EU treaty.

The British Supreme Court has announced the long-awaited date of the appeal hearing requested by the Government against the decision taken last week by the High Court in London, which established the need to seek the opinion of Parliament before starting the official release of the United Kingdom from the European Union, activating the now famous article 50 of the EU treaty.

The Supreme Court will review the case between December 4 and 9 next. "The Court has reserved four days, from 5 to 8 December 2016, for the examination of the appeal". This is what was reported in the official press release released on the afternoon of 8 November.

In the note, however, it is specified that the actual duration of the discussion of the appeal may vary according to the testimonies produced by the interested parties.

The final decision on the vote of parliamentarians in early 2017, specified the Court.
