The Bombassei-based company achieved net revenues of 1.254,5 million, an increase of 16,7% compared to the previous year – Net profit reached 42,9 million, an increase of 33,1% compared to 2010.

Alberto Bombassei has failed in the race for the presidency of Confindustria, but he consoles himself with the numbers of his company. Today the Brembo group shareholders' meeting approved the 2011 financial statements. The brake manufacturer achieved net revenues of 1.254,5 million, up 16,7% on the previous year. As for the net profit, it reached 42,9 million, for an increase of 33,1% compared to 2010.

The shareholders' meeting also decided to distribute a gross unit dividend of 0,30 euro for each outstanding share on the ex-coupon date, excluding treasury shares. Payment will take place starting next May 10, 2012.

The meeting appointed Andrea Abbati Marescotti as director, already co-opted by the board in June 2011. In the board meeting held at the end of the meeting, the board confirmed Abbati Marescotti as managing director.
