Brazil-Germany, is also a record tweet: 35,6 million

The numbers of last night's final are not only the exorbitant result that Germany obtained on the pitch beating Brazil - An equally surprising figure is the number of tweets sent during the 90 minutes of the match, 35,6 million, with an average incredible number of chirps per minute.

Brazil-Germany, is also a record tweet: 35,6 million

The first world semifinal has set records not only on the field, with the incredible result of 7 to 1 in favor of Germany, but also on social networks, Twitter in particular.

With 35,6 million tweets over the 90 minutes of the game, last night's match stands as the most tweeted sporting event ever, beating the previous record set by the American SuperBowl, which had instead reported 24,9 million of tweets. The peak of chirping came with Khedira's 5-0 goal in the twenty-ninth minute.

Among the dozens of titles that are flagellating the Selecao on newspapers all over the world, this fact must also be underlined. Interesting that the two most tagged names are those of the two main creators of last night's tragicomic show: Julio Cesar, the Brazilian protiere, and Klose, the German striker in Lazio's forces. The reasons for the quotes from the two players are more than obvious, who, at least on twitter, are in substantial parity.
