Bpm, core tier 1 at 5,7% at the end of June

If the expected capital increase is 1,2 billion euro, the pro forma value will rise to 8,3%

Bpm, core tier 1 at 5,7% at the end of June

At the end of June, Banca Popolare di Milano's core tier 1 ratio stood at 5,7%. The figure discounts the prudential weightings imposed by the Bank of Italy, which weigh by 124 basis points, net of which the ratio would be 7,2%. The pro forma value then leaps to 8,3% also considering a capital increase of 1,2 billion. Waiting to figure out what it will be the actual amount of the recapitalisation, CEO Enzo Chiesa explained that for every 100 million less capital increase there would be 22 basis points less on core tier 1.
