The exceptions are a few titles, such as Tim +1,15%, thanks to the more concrete prospects of spin-off of the network; Luxottica +1,33%. Milan is in the black jersey in Europe, but it is certainly not an exception, because sales today are widespread worldwide. All European lists close down, made even more nervous in the afternoon by theopening bell out of tune on Wall Street for the second day in a row.

Madrid loses 1,21%; London -1,09%; Frankfurt -0,95%; Paris -0,87%. In New York, the Dow Jones is currently losing more than one percentage point. Bond yields (treasuries are at their highest levels for about 4 years) weighing on shares are rising, in the expectation that central banks globally reduce stimuli to the economy thanks to the improvement in the outlook. There is therefore expectation for the meeting, which begins today and ends tomorrow, of the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC), the section that decides the monetary policy of the American central bank. This is the last appointment chaired by Janet Yellen, who will pass the baton to Jerome Powell on Saturday. Among the highlights of the day is also the first speech on the State of the Union, which President Donald Trump will give on the American evening.

On the monetary front, the exchange euro dollar it is just under 1,24. The session is negative for the Petroleum: Brent -1,26%, $68,26 a barrel; WTI -1,98%; $64,26 a barrel. Gold little moved.

In Piazza Affari the title most penalized by sales is Leonardo, which ends in the volatility auction after the presentation of the industrial plan by Alessandro Profumo. The 2017 accounts are worse than expected, while the definitive relaunch of the publicly controlled group, active in the Defense and Aerospace sectors, will arrive in 2020. Only in two years there should be a return to double-digit profitability with helicopters and in the meantime, the market does not seem willing to make discounts.
