Stock exchanges: Juventus and Netflix, two collapses that make noise

Stock prices recover but the Superlega flop sends the Juventus stock into a tailspin, which loses more than 13% in Piazza Affari – Netflix (-7,2%) on the Nasdaq is also very bad due to the drop in subscriptions – Credit Agricole at 52% of Creval – Over 3,7 billion raised by Btp Futura

European stock markets rebound, driven towards the end by the positive performance of Wall Street and by a slight easing of pressure on banks. Business Square follows more timidly (+0,3%, 24.161 points), with luxury stocks in evidence, negative banks and the Juventus in deep red (-13,7%) after the wreck of the Superlega project, from which almost all the clubs withdrew one after the other. 

The session is positive for government bonds: lo spread to 101 points (-2,47%, with a ten-year BTP rate of 0,75%) on the eve of the ECB meeting, while the placement of the BtpFutura which closes its doors on Friday. On the third day of the offer, requests for 1,01 billion euros arrived, based on around 24 contracts. The total request is equal to approximately 4,68 billion euros.

The other European price lists, led by Amsterdam +1,3%, where Heineken it appreciates by 4,84% after the presentation of the accounts for the first quarter. Paris rises by 0,74% and thanks to Kering (+4,17%) offers excellent support for fashion headlines across the continent. The house that owns the Gucci brand closed the first quarter with sales of 3,9 billion euros (+21,4%), exceeding pre-pandemic levels. Overseas Wall Street is moving at a moderate pace but rising, after a bad start. The banks stop in the red zone. Bper loses 2,22% on the day of the shareholders' meeting due to the green light for the 2020 accounts and the distribution of the 0,04 euro dividend. On this occasion, the new board of directors was also appointed for the three-year period 2021-2023. Piero Luigi Montani, among others, has joined the new board and will become managing director in the first useful meeting of the board, thus officially closing the era of Alessandro Vandelli.
